STOCK PERSONS (Jindalee Feedlot, Riverina NSW)

Jindalee Feedlot is located in the Riverina NSW, 2 hours from Canberra and 1 hour north from Wagga Wagga. This modern 20,000 head facility serves a key role in the Teys Australia supply chain producing quality beef for both domestic and export markets.


About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Pen Rider/ Stock Person to join our team at our Jindalee facility, NSW. This opportunity will see you working with a team of 12 staff assisting with day to day operations of the feedlot, including; general cattle handling, drafting, cutting out, pen riding and moving cattle within the feedlot, diagnosing animal health with an emphasis on animal welfare, administration of the animal health treatments and maintaining accurate daily records, including data entry.

You will be an enthusiastic individual who has a genuine interest to work in the feedlot industry and thrives in a collaborative team environment. It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:

· Competent horsemanship and riding skills;

· Experienced cattle handling skills;

· Strong communication skills and ability to foster a team environment;

· Minimum of two horses and required gear (allowances given for upkeep)
