Post registration, you will receive a zoom link to save to your calendar and access the training. Those who attend and participate in the session will have their Feedlot TECH training transcript updated automatically. A successful feedlot operation must have facilities that are well-designed and kept in good working order. By understanding how to use and maintain the facilities you work in, you can have the confidence to handle cattle safely at your feedlot, which will improve animal welfare outcomes and performance. Recognise a range of feedlot facility designs and components
Apply best practices to work safely in your facility
Move cattle through facilities safely and with minimal stress
Determine group size numbers suitable for your facility
Recognise environmental and weather conditions
Identify feedlot maintenance activities
Perform basic maintenance check
Report maintenance issues
