ALFA Future Feeders Network Establishes Inaugural Committee

The feedlot sector’s new professional development group, the ALFA Future Feeders Network (FFN), has today established its inaugural Committee.


The ALFA FFN aims to build a dynamic, inclusive network where the next generation can explore career paths, develop skills, and actively contribute to the future of the sector.


Under the guidance of ALFA’s Industry Capacity Committee, the ALFA FFN Committee will take the lead in delivering strategic, industry-focused activities aimed at fostering connections and collaboration.


Led by inaugural chair Tim Brennan, Feedlot Livestock Manager at Stanbroke, the Committee is comprised of talented young leaders from around the country.


Members of the ALFA FFN Committee are:

  • April Kratzmann, Livestock Movements Supervisor at Smithfield Cattle Company

  • Brianna Meacle, Livestock Production Manager at Whyalla Beef

  • Caitlin Herbert, Managing Director at Gundamain Pastoral Company

  • Edwina Warby, Senior Client Manager at Black Box Co

  • Kassandra Lees, Livestock Leading Hand at McIntrye Agriculture

  • Timothy Mitchell, Livestock Procurement Manager at Condabri Beef

  • Tom Harrington, R&D Manager – Agribusiness at Australian Country Choice



The establishment of the ALFA Future Feeders Network Committee marks a significant milestone in the feedlot sector's commitment to developing its next generation of leaders.


By creating a structured platform for professional development and networking for young lot feeders, ALFA is investing in the long-term sustainability and innovation capacity of the industry.
