Chief Executive Officer

Christian Mulders

Christian has come to ALFA with excellent policy and advocacy experience, strategy and communication skills and long term relationships with industry leaders, commercial operators, government officials, other peak industry bodies and our service providers. Prior to joining ALFA as CEO, Christian was most recently employed with the Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC) within their senior Executive team representing the meat processing industry in livestock, animal welfare, meat quality and product integrity matters. A key contributor to industry programs, Christian has held senior positions on various working groups and committees including SAFEMEAT, Meat Standards Australia, Livestock Production Assurance, National Vendor Declarations, and the National Livestock Identification System.

Linda Kelly

Linda has worked extensively across the water industry and is well experienced across a range of areas, having worked for the Murray Darling Basin Commission, Department of Sustainability and Environment (Vic),  Department of Sustainability Environment Water Population & Communities, and water utilities in WA, Victoria and Tasmania. Linda has a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Graduate Certificate in Professional Education & Training and Bachelor of Education qualifications. Having previously owned a small irrigation farm and mixed dryland property in Northern Victoria, Linda has a lifelong passion for agriculture and is enjoying working in the livestock industry.

Membership, Communications & Capability Officer

Jessica Skilbeck

An enthusiast for communications and project management within agriculture, Jessica works with ALFA as Membership, Communications and Capability Officer. Jessica grew up on a cattle property in north-east Victoria and worked on-farm for a number of years throughout Victoria and Western Australia. Following the completion of her Bachelor of Business (Agribusiness) at Marcus Oldham College, she went on to work in the events, communications and marketing sectors of agribusiness, whilst also taking on volunteer leadership roles in the industry. Jessica applies both her experience and passion for livestock production when providing quality services to ALFA Members.

Accounts, Office Administrator & Personal Assistant to CEO

Nat Liamsombat

Nat works with ALFA as Accounts, Office Administrator and Personal Assistant to CEO. Nat has a Masters in Business Administration, a Diploma in Accounting and is currently studying part time Master of Professional Accounting at UTS. Previously, Nat worked for OCC Apparel for over five years in accounts.

Technical Services Officer, Contractor

Jeff House

Jeff is contracted to ALFA to provide a Technical Services role for the lot feeding industry. The role is funded by both ALFA and MLA, and has been created to deliver information, education, training and technical services to improve management practices among cattle lot feeders throughout Australia. Before taking up this position, Jeff was employed for 18 years as a Livestock Extension Officer (Beef Cattle) with the NSW Department of Primary Industries. Jeff is based at Forbes in central NSW and is available to provide advice and assistance to all existing feedlots, as well as anyone looking to develop a feedlot or going through the feedlot establishment process.
